Ian is a handsome lawyer “on the roll”, working for a legal firm in Los Angeles. He lives a life anyone could dream of, which comes to an abrupt end when the Polish girl Joanna Ian used to date calls him and tells him that she is pregnant. Ian’s friend Steven advises Ian to go to Poland and pay her off.  This plan backfires and Ian starts to develop feelings for Joanna and the unborn baby. Trying to think rationally Ian wants Joanna to sign a paper relieving him from all responsibility. Back in the USA Ian hears that Joanna has been in a serious accident and the baby’s life is in danger. Ian returns to Poland selling all his possessions to be able to cover the cost of the operation needed. However, he needs to earn back Joanna’s respect and show that he is worthy of being a father.
